How distance and price are calculated
One-way: pickup to destination. Return: outbound plus the return distance you enter. Yard-to-yard: yard to pickup, pickup to destination and destination back to yard.
Estimate: minimum hire charge + max(0, total billable kilometres − included kilometres) × additional-km rate + billable waiting hours × waiting rate + entered loading, unloading, toll and other charges.
The formula treats the minimum hire as the charge for the included kilometres. Confirm that this matches your quotation. Tax is not calculated separately; ask Solid whether quoted amounts include applicable taxes.
Official vehicle rates have not yet been supplied. If you enter your own quoted rates, the result is labelled accordingly. Actual routing, return requirements, availability and vehicle suitability need confirmation.
